Oh, Hello!

Quell Well serves as a promise to ‘quell’ one’s creative endeavors into tangible artwork that becomes a part of a cherished memory in the homes of others. Through a narrative approach to surface pattern Illustration, I would like to invite others a way to share stories and help them tell their own tale.

ABOUT

As self-professed foolish day dreamer and perpetual learner of hobbies, Janessa is a Surface Design Illustrator residing in the breezy coastal city of Savannah, Georgia. If not drifting into the captivating storytelling of video games, she can be found sketching out inspiration from the fascinating creatures and life within her scope. Throughout her navigation of life, the pursuit of a professional career as an artist remained her guiding star.

Days in her studio is spent transforming her bubbling outlook into lofty works of art, fueled by coffee and her overwhelming drive to discover new ideas over the horizon. She prefers to start with hand sketches and then further develop them into fully digital pieces on the computer using a graphic tablet. She strives to seek wonderment in the form of narrative illustration, repeat pattern collections, and experimental exploration.
